WHAT IS ARMORING ABOUT?

Armoring a vehicle means providing it with bullet-proof materials and useful accessories to repel an attack or take to flight. The following elements are usually incorporated to the armor:

   Change of windshield, side and rear windows for bullet-proof glass.
   A layer of steel or other bullet-proof materials around:
     passenger cabin: doors, roof, floor, front and rear parts, frames, posts and pillars.
     battery
     gas tank
   Tire protection against punctures.
   Defense system that releases skin and eye irritant gas around the vehicle.
   Siren and stroboscopic lights to call the attention in case of attack.
   Vehicle satellite tracking system.
   Additional security accessories.
