Level 3 (NIJ IIIA / VPAM 4)

Level 3 armoring represents our entry-level protection package, engineered to defeat the vast majority of handgun threats encountered in urban environments worldwide. This protection level meets and exceeds NIJ Standard 0108.01 Level IIIA requirements and European VPAM BRV 2009 PM4 standards.

The armoring package utilizes high-strength ballistic steel panels ranging from 3-4mm thickness, strategically installed within door cavities, roof panels, rear quarter panels, and the firewall. These panels are precisely cut using CNC laser technology to ensure perfect fitment while maintaining factory-like door operation and panel gaps.

Our Level 3 ballistic glass utilizes a multi-layer polycarbonate and glass laminate construction, typically measuring 21-25mm in thickness. This construction provides optical clarity comparable to standard automotive glass while stopping multiple handgun rounds. The glass maintains full functionality for power windows in most applications.

Floor protection consists of ballistic Kevlar blankets that provide fragmentation and ricochet protection without significantly raising the interior floor height. The fuel tank is protected with self-sealing bladder technology that prevents fuel leakage if punctured.

This protection level adds relatively modest weight (200-350 kg depending on vehicle size), which means most factory suspension, brake, and drivetrain components can remain stock, keeping maintenance simple and cost-effective. The vehicle's handling characteristics remain largely unchanged, and fuel economy impact is minimal.
